The exposure triangle (shutter speed, aperture and ISO) – how they work and examples of how to obtain the best exposures and effects.
Focusing
Learn how to bring subjects into sharp focus and take crisp images.
Depth of field
Core aspects of the depth of field and how to control it for better images.
Composition
The rules of composition and examples of the best approach in different situations with different types of subjects.
Files and formats
Different types of files the camera can generate (RAW, JPG etc) and what is the best option for you.

Advice on the equipment you have and what to buy if needed

How to look after your equipment to keep it in tip top condition.
